Glossary

For routine cleaning of tile and grout, simply wipe down the tile with warm water and a sponge. Keeping floors free of dirt and grit will help prevent scratching the tile surface and grinding dirt into the grout joints. There are many products on the market that can remove light buildups of dirt, grease, soap scum, and hard water spots, but never use acid-based cleaners on your grout. The acid can destroy your grout, and cause extensive water damage.

After Great Grout cleans or repairs any tile or grout in your home, you should do the following to help maintain the beauty:

Great Grout Service Maintenance for Best Results
Caulk The caulk needs at least 24 hours to fully solidify. Then gently clean with warm water and a sponge. Never use a harsh abrasive or metal scrubber, as the caulking can tear.
Clean Keep surface free of dirt. Watch for cracks or chips in the tile.
